Congratulations on clicking on this page! Becoming involved in the James Henry Martineau Family Organization can be very rewarding. There are many ways to become involved and we are especially interested in fresh, young perspectives.
FAMILY REUNION 2016 – We have a Family Reunion coming up in June of 2016. We are looking for ideas for activities, food, entertainment and for presentations. We know that there are all kinds of interesting people in our family, so don’t be shy. We will also be looking for volunteers to plan and/or help to put on this Family Reunion.
GENEALOGICAL WORK – The great thing about genealogical work is that we can all be working on this project together. We’d love to have you join the Genealogical Committee. If you have expertise or have exciting findings to share, let us know. We want to shine a light on the interesting histories we share.
MEMORIES (Journals, Documents, Photos, etc.) – Amongst us all there are many pieces of family history. Lets make them available to each other.
WEBSITE COMMITTEE – We are looking for talented descendants to help with our online presence on Facebook and Youtube. We are looking for photographers, videographers, web designers, bloggers, graphic designers, writers or really anyone with heart, who might be willing to lend a hand.
OFFICERS AND TRUSTEES – There is a Trustee for each of the children of James Henry Martineau. Some of them are looking to retire their positions. If you are interested in serving as a Trustee or as an Officer in the James Henry Martineau Family Organization, please let us know.
TEMPLE WORK- For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, names are available for doing work in the temple. If you would like to plan a temple trip, provide names or get names for work, contact us and let us know.
